Prior to using Tulia Travel, I would spend so much of our vacations stressing about what we would do next, where we would go to eat, trying to figure out what activities went together and what could be fit into the same day, and on and on. Tulia Travel made it so that I could actually relax and just be present on my trip, knowing that our days were planned out by someone with knowledge of both the location and what we were looking to get out of our vacation.

I’ve never planned a trip of this magnitude with so many things to consider. I wanted to plan something really special for my dad and I to do together as he’d never been out of the US. We went to 3 countries and on a cruise and Julia made everything so seamless that I just know I would have missed something if I didn’t have her help. The things we don’t think about- transfers between hotels and airports, arrival assistance, tips and know-how that I don’t have as it’s been 10 years since I’d traveled internationally. The availability and support when I did have a question or wasn’t sure about something while we were away was invaluable. All of the tours available to us through her partners made me feel so comfortable and less overwhelmed in choosing because I knew if they were on her list, they’d been vetted and would be amazing experiences- and they all were. I can go on an on but what I will say is it’s a trip my dad and I will never forget, and we will continue to plan all of our trips with Tulia Travel moving forward.

We’ve never had a more relaxing vacation than when working with Tulia Travel. Even though our schedule was full of amazing adventures, there was absolutely no stress; all we had to do was show up on time, and even with that, all of our guides were super flexible and accommodating. Additionally, knowing that all of our activities were hand-picked and vetted helped ease that anxiety you feel about needing to see everything – we had a wonderfully curated experience without any FOMO. Finally, the guides that Juila set us up with made all the difference in each city we visited. I will never do another international vacation without a guide to help me explore the city.

There’s no better resource for finding hidden gems. It could be as simple as knowing which day or time to go on a tour. It might even be a destination you never would have considered. Tulia’s recommendations were unparalleled. Their planning allowed us to navigate three different African destinations without any stress. We really felt like we got to see what was important and take advantage of some areas that weren’t on our radar. Tulia’s recommendations actually ended up being some of the highlights of the trip!

The trip was perfect in every way partly because all we had to do was show up.  The hotels were perfect, the airport and other transfers were seemless – dinner reservations, outings were all taken care of by Julia.  There was a welcome/ anniversary basket at EACH hotel.  Any questions we had along the way Julia answered.  The trip was pure fun and zero worries and we’ve made memories for a lifetime.
